Hey, we forgot to include getting the printed copies of the Flex 2 doc set! It can now be purchased for $50 online at:
https://store1.adobe.com/cfusion/store/index.cfm?category=/Applications/FlexwithCharting&NR=0#view=ols_prod&categoryOID=1579184

Surely a must have for any serious Flex 2 developer ;-)

Renaun,

Great post!

Though not books, John Olson recently tipped me off on the following two great titles in Lynda.com's online training library:

Flex 2 Essential Training with: David Gassner
http://movielibrary.lynda.com/html/modPage.asp?ID=248

ActionScript 3.0 Essential Training with: Joey Lott
http://movielibrary.lynda.com/html/modPage.asp?ID=268

So, is Colin Moock only working on a pocket reference? I though he was working on the big successor of his previous books.

Hearsay indeed :) I can confirm we won't be out on June 30th; we decided that for the revised edition of "Developing Rich Clients with Macromedia Flex", we wouldn't aim to be first out of the blocks. Our aim with the book was to articulate best-practices, and we believe that we'll better achieve on that aim this time around, with some field-experience of pushing Flex 2 to it's limits and beyond. I'll blog more when we have a little more detail to share. I look forward to seeing what our other colleagues in the Flex community have to share with the community in the meantime ! It's a great sign of the growth of the community !
