I just tried YouTube on the latest Opera Mobile 8.6 beta and the flash video player actually worked. It was sort of jumpy but it worked.

It is really sad to look at product like opera mobile with all the web 2.0 functionalities and with AJAX support but it is not able to play flash or even audio.

I did some testing with opera mobile 8.6 but unfortuantly niether sound nor flash has been played by this browser. I was looking for add-ons to go around this but i could not find any.

You need to install the PocketPC 7 Flash Player from adobe.com. Then you need to make a video player in Flash (in version 7) that plays a FLV off a server. Then point your IE browser to the url of the flash video player.

how were you able to get flv to play? I can't find the exe for it, and I try to associate FLV and SWF with internet explorer and it doesn't seem to want to work. I have a 700w too.
