I did some testing with opera mobile 8.6 but unfortuantly niether sound nor flash has been played by this browser. I was looking for add-ons to go around this but i could not find any.

Then you need to make a video player in Flash (in version 7) that plays a FLV off a server. Then point your IE browser to the url of the flash video player.
