If I may add another resource. Total training has released two DVD trainings on Flex 2.

Thanks, I have updated the post to reflect the total training DVD’s.

[...] Renaun blogged his updated Flex and ActionScript 3.0 Resource List. It’s really cool to see this many Flex resources out there, especially for those of us coming from 1.5 where all we had was Steven and Alistair’s (excellent) Flex book (seeing that book cover brings back some memories). Does anyone know when the ActionScript 3.0 Dictionary or language reference will be available in print?

  • 5. Renaun Erickson  |  2007-02-19 at 10.05 am

Are you talking about the option to buy the Flex Doc’s in print form? I know of people already purchasing these. Can’t remember where the link is.

Yes, I haven’t been able to find the print version either. If you could refer me to where it could be purchased that would be great.

I’m looking forward to your text. You seem to be a very responsible person, and I hope that your text reflects that. I have blown lots of money on Flex videos and new Flex books, and all of them have glaring and very frustrating errors in them. I can forgive an error here and there - especially if they are corrected on the author’s site - but most of these ‘resources’ are beyond the pale. I know that I myself am not perfect and that this post probably has errors in it; but I’m not charging anyone for the experience of reading my tripe.

Anyway, I hope that your text leads the way in both instruction and accuracy.
