I am at my new job, working for Adobe
April 2nd, 2007
I am currently sitting in Adobe’s San Francisco office starting my new contract (and in a few months full time) job. I have joined a small internal seed group working on a Voice initiative. I am really excited about this opportunity and looking forward to being part of the company that produces the technology I use on a daily basis.
It has been a very interesting series of events to come to this point and it was a big decision for my family and I. I’ll continue to use Flex and ActionScript in new position and still plan to blog as much as possible. I will be commuting to San Francisco on a regular basis and Adobe is treating me really well.

Hi Renaun,
Welcome to Adobe. It’ll be great to have you in the same building as so much of the Flex team. Keep in close touch–we’re on the 2nd floor.

(Actually, I am based in our Newton office, but I am in the SF office fairly often.)

Oh wow, Adobe is a big sponge these days sucking up all the talent! Good to know that they’re making the right choices though :-)
Are you saying that you’ll commute from Las Vegas to SF? Bit of a way isn’t it?

the commute from vegas to SF is about 2 1/2 hours. Because of many factors it is what I prefer, but that might change over time.
