I received my copy of O’Reilly’s ActionScript 3.0 Cookbook, by Joey Lott, Darron Schall, and Keith Peters. It covers all the basics of the language as well as touch on some of the more advanced features of AS3. Looking over the Bitmap filter section shows some hidden gems that I think will find there way into a lot of Flex apps.

Here at MAX’s thursday keynote we get the peak into possible furture features/products. First was a Yahoo IM plugin connecting to Adobe Connect. Part of the demo was PDF files integrated into Connect also with SyncSDK contorls of viewing the PDF’s.
